Reading the evidence

KitchenGrade is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Florida DBPR or LifeKitchen. DBPR does not issue our letter grades. Grades interpret dated captured records using the published method and eligibility rules. Coverage is limited to captured Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole county records and can be incomplete or delayed. A grade, dated outcome, historical business name or active-license capture does not establish current ownership, operating status or food safety. Read the dates, withholding notes and exact official reports.

Third-party ratings

WaterGrade taste scores and optional Google customer ratings measure different things from inspection grades. They do not alter our grades, filters, rankings or alerts. An exact captured name/address match does not verify current ownership. Unknown or unavailable ratings are not zero, and optional provider failures leave inspection records usable.

Availability and corrections

Google customer-rating lookups have a fixed request allowance and can pause when that allowance is reached or the provider is unavailable. It does not promise complete Google coverage. Daily source checks do not promise daily DBPR publication. Installation provides an offline connection notice, not a downloaded inspection catalog. Saving a place alone does not subscribe you to alerts.

Report app errors through Contact. We check the source and shared app rules; corrections preserve inspection history. DBPR controls its official findings. No response time, safety certification or continued feature availability is promised.
